Comments: Had them re-stain and re-finish my fireplace cabinetry and office cabinetry for my living room. It was a 4-day job and it looks and feels like I have brand new cabinets. I asked a few other places beforehand about pricing & Capelli's pricing was at or slightly below the going rate. I would highly recommend them for this type of work - it's my home & I didn't want to mess around with trying to low-ball or go cheap. Excellent work, but I know they're busy so you may need to book a few weeks in advance.

Comments: Mr. Capelli is amazing. He has worked on several of my parents antiques and they always came out beautifully. I was hesitant to call when our old (not antique) dining room table needed to be refinished. He came out to our house, quoted us, and took it away (and it is heavy). He brought it back when promised in mint condition. I can't recommend anyone higher.

Comments: I have an antique settee and a couple hand-made arm chairs made in the early 1800s. At a party someone leaned back and horribly splintered the layered, carved wood chair back. I took it to Capelli. He knew EXACTLY what to do to repair the piece, including--no kidding--MAKING antique-style rabbit glue that the German craftsmen would have used on the piece. Not cheap, but I'm amazed it could be repaired.. I bought some unrelated casters from the company, and the price was reasonable. Not a pretentious store, but a real workshop. I recommend highly.

Comments: We have a 100+yr old large solid oak table and 50yr old danish modern display unit. The table had numerous scratches, dings and niks from years of daily use. The danish unit was badly water stained and sun bleached. Mr. Capelli promptly arrived, inspected, evaluated, and thoroughly explained to us, in detail, what he would do to repair and restore our furniture. He has a great deal of knowledge, experience, and understanding of our needs and requirements. We were sure that he was the right man for the job. We were extremely pleased with the end results when Mr. Gordon and his crew reinstalled the units in our home. Outstanding beauty!

Comments: Capelli does amazing work. We recently acquired my husbands Grandparents antique dining room furniture, it had been in storage over 15 years. Needless to say, it was in terrible condition. Scratched up, dinged and dented, broken arms on chairs, the balls of the feet were broken off and more. When we got it back it was better then new. The meticulous attention to detail and expert craftsmanship is beyond any expectations we had. You can shop around and probably find someone cheaper but let me tell you, you get what you pay for. I would give Gordon 10 stars if I could.

Comments: My mother had a Chip n Dale dining set that she wanted to have refinished ever since I was a child. She could never afford to have this done and when she passed away I decided that i wanted to have the table restored in her memory. Capelli was very experienced and knew exactly what type of table I had and the year. It was really amazing. I have never met anyone so knowledgeable about antique furniture. He even allowed me to take my time in paying for the work that he completed. When he delivered the table to my home it was exquisite. Everything was restored to original condition. I am extremely please with the final result.
